Great Lakes Granite & Marble Company
Richard Booms established Great Lakes Granite & Marble Company in 1989. We began specializing in residential projects working from a small office in Livonia, Michigan.
Since then, the Company has grown into a full service Marble & Granite Fabricator with an 18,000 s.f. Office/fabrication facility and 24,000 s.f. Warehouse in Redford Michigan. Our Fabrication Facility has (4) Bridge Saws, (2) CNC Milling Machines and an Edge Profiling Machine.
In 1999, Mr. Booms was elected to the Board of Directors of the Marble Institute of America and served as President of the Organization in 2003.
We have long standing relationships with International Suppliers from Brazil, Italy Singapore & Spain, which allow us many value-engineering opportunities for our customers.
